THE FAMILY BEHIND THE MISSION

One family's journey and why they built this.

Dann and Roxane Aungst's marriage nearly collapsed under the weight of addiction, infidelity, and wounds neither of them fully understood. Their children grew up inside that pain. Their son David became the family peacemaker at an age no child should carry that weight. Their daughter Cassie grew up anxious, never quite feeling like she was enough.

But something happened. Dann hit rock bottom. He surrendered. Roxane chose forgiveness over bitterness. Slowly, painfully, and by the grace of God and their family began to heal. Dann started Road to Purity in 2015 to help other men find the same freedom from addiction.

"If your kids can see you transforming your heart through Christ, through forgiveness, through healing then they will never leave the faith. They will never be confused about who they are. They will know they are a child of God because they witnessed it in you."

Today Roxane and David have left their careers to join Dann and work with the ministry full time.

His career placed him at the center of porn culture, drug-fueled events, and the relentless pursuit of fame.

Yet even while chasing success, Nick never fully walked away from his Catholic roots. A powerful moment of conviction in 2011 awakened him to the eternal consequences of the life he was building. What followed was not an overnight change, but a hard-fought transformation—one that required rebuilding his marriage, reclaiming his role as a father, and surrendering his ambition to Christ.

Today, Nick leads a faith-driven production company, works alongside Catholic ministries, and is committed to evangelizing through culture rather than retreating from it.
